Linden belongs to the Tiliaceae family and it can be commonly found throughout the whole Poland. For medicinal purposes, linden flower (Tiliae flos) is obtained from two species: small-leaved linden (Tilia cordata) and big-leaved linden (Tilia platyphyllos). Lime is one of the most important honey-yielding plants. Fun fact, it blooms after 20 years after planting. Herbal raw material of the plant is lime flower (Tiliae flos) which contains plant mucus, flavonoids, tannins, polyphenols. Products made from linden flower are traditionally used to relieve symptoms of a cold, dry cough and bronchi irritation. In addition, linden flower is recommended for relaxation in states of hyperactivity and mental stress. It can only be given to children 6 years and older
