Verbena Herb

Verbena (Verbena officinalis L. belongs to the Verbenaceae family. It is wild collected for medical purposes. Material consists of verbena herb (Verbanae herba) which contains mainly iridium glycosides (e.g. vervain), flavonoids, phenolic acids and plant mucus. Products made from verbena herb can be used for digestive disorder, bronchitis, sinusitis, stress, headaches and exhaustion. It cannot be used during pregnancy, as it may cause early contractions.
