Ginger Rhizome

Ginger rhizome Zingiber officinale Rosc. belongs to Zingiberaceae family and it is a plant of tropical climates valued for its taste and medicinal qualities. The herbal raw material is the underground tuberous rhizome of ginger – Zingiberis rhizoma, which contains essential oil, bitters, sugars and mucus. Ginger rhizome is recognized as a traditional remedy for mild gastrointestinal symptoms (including bloatness and wind) but also has a well-established medical use in the prevention of nausea and vomiting in motion sickness confirmed by clinical studies. Can be given to children 6 years and older.
